In a world that is about chaotic as one can get, it is hard to keep one's self stable in mind. There is so much troubling news around the world to digest, along with the cares at home, make for a restless mind. Hardly a day goes by without hearing of some tragedy or a violent crime against children. About every day you are saying to yourself, "Just what is this world coming to?" One wonders if it can get any worse before the Lord destroys it like Sodom. There is a way we can live in this mixed up society and keep a peaceful mind. "Isaiah 3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength": Just as the song goes, "Only trust Him only trust Him now", if you and I could only learn to apply this to our lives, we would soon discover that all that goes on in this world is in His hands. He is our keeper and our Saviour and is well able to carry us through what ever we have to face in this life. All we need to do is simply trust Him with all our heart knowing that He is watching over us and acknowledge that He really loves His own. "Be not dismayed what-e'er be-tide, God will take care of you; beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you". Only trust Him!
